Overview

The BSc (Hons) Computing with Foundation Year is designed to provide a strong grounding in use of computing and IT to solve real world problems.

The programme is based around 3 themes: Technology, Software, and Data. These themes are embedded in modules each year and built upon in subsequent years, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of database systems, internet technologies, data, cyber security, networking, and business information systems - all essential features for all computing and IT job roles.

entry requirements

Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and:

Hold a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points).

Have an English qualification: GCSE grade 4/C or CEFR B1. If you don’t have this qualification, you can take an English test .

Applicants Aged 21+:

We welcome applications from students aged 21 and above who may not meet the standard entry requirements but can demonstrate strong commitment and readiness to study. Applicants should provide evidence of academic, professional, or vocational experience in a related field.
